Watercolor painting depicting the stages of an Atlantic Coast leopard frog’s life cycle. The cycle begins at the top right of the page with a cluster of frog eggs, which then grow into a tadpole. Moving clockwise to the next painting, hindlegs appear. The tadpole’s front legs start to form and the tail begins to shrink before becoming a froglet. When the tail has fully vanished an adult frog has formed. At the top of the page, the last stage shows the skeleton of the Atlantic Coast leopard frog. Stitching creates a border around the life cycle.

Artwork: 11”x15” Matte: 15”x19”
